OK, I just finished a problematical install of the same locker (damn Dana 30 c-clips too large) and wanted to see this, but I just don't have time to watch paint dry...EDIT EDIT EDIT!

$195 Fleabay, NATIONAL DRIVETRAIN, they're standup fokes! Offered me another pin kit when I'd temporarily lost a spring set due to high winds and moving my rags around. Big magnet, found, called off the rescue. Clearances well within specs, all works, but had to grind down width of c-clips to fit through recess in drivers and into the spacers...because they're NOT PRECISION components, stamped out, not machined, and it took me MANY HOURS to figure out what the problem was! Lock-Right tech totally got me out of the bush for an uncommon problem that he, (John Brown) had seen before long ago. Mine's a 2004. Just ground them down to fit; never Removed the carrier.
