how would you compare your experience playing on untamed vs weaver?

Unfortunately, weaver is just an outdated design. In their quest to ensure that every class has a support role, they've added boons to almost every spec but weaver and you can see the result of that with untamed. Having quickness, fury, might, and vulnerability (as well as every other boon except alacrity!) just allows it to deal far more damage than weaver is capable of in solo play. Defensively, obviously condi builds like weaver have an advantage in passive sustain and sword/focus remains one of the strongest defensive kits. So it can be easier to die on untamed as you're still a full glass DPS build. On the other hand, Perilous Gift, Forest's Fortification, the at-will damage reduction on unleashed pet, and of course the ridiculous sustain on maces make it quite resilient despite that and you can always take the Carnivore trait to outheal almost anything.

@@didoma73 No stunbreak. I prefer not to give up damage for defensive utilities where I can avoid it. But it does have stability on the elite skill and you can generate stability on demand by landing disabling effects while in unleashed pet. There's also a very short stability on mace 4 skill.
