Because you're English I really was waiting for "nice cup of tea" 😂 The melody is so dreamy and beautiful, it could be from a video game. I sometimes practice 3 against 2 or 2 against 3 by playing scales in parallel or contrary motion. Or I practice chord progressions by playing chords in polyrhythms, alternating 3:2 and 2:3.

Hey Bill, thanks for this exercise. It's a nice challenge! I'm wondering if it is bad for learning effectivity concerning hand independence if I see it as combined rhythm which divides every beat in 6 parts. Right than plays on 1 und 4, while LH plays on 1, 3 and 5. What do you think?

You're welcome! I think that's fine, really, especially when you're starting to learn it. However, once you've got confident you'll probably find that counting it as 4/4 helps you give clearer definition and a better sense of flow to the melody - does that make sense?

It *is* tough, but you'll probably find that it's one of those things you can master if you chip away at it - a little bit of practice every day for a few weeks. It's definitely worth sticking with!

@@BillHilton Your KZbin channel is great. But I don't have the patience to do exercises that aren't fun. I just print out chord/lyrics charts and play along with KZbin until I can sing the songs myself. I just sometimes try to force myself to do the hard stuff. Learning piano properly is for children. Middle-aged adults like me are too old to learn the proper way. But thank you for providing the world a great resource!
