On this channel I will be showcasing some of the best gymnastics, edits and gymnast compilations! You will see KZbin gymnasts such as Whitney Bjerken, and other famous gymnasts such as Simone Biles, Katelyn Ohashi, Gabby Douglas, Nastia Liukin, Shawn Johnson and many more! There will be plenty of women's gymnastics videos including vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise compliations! There will also be men's gymnastics videos in which we will showcase floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar montages!

Both together would be great!!! I love the elegance and power! The Brazilian young lady who rivaled Simone jad a balance of both. She is beautiful to watch. Simone is awe inspiring to watch with her power.

I miss the days of grace in gymnastics. Now it's all about formulaic routines featuring the elements with the most difficulty. Sanne Wevers beam routine in Rio was a refreshing exception that proved the rule. Perhaps like figure skating there should be a score component for artistry.

The choreography of europeans i appreciate, they incorporate contemporary dance with acro. Mai kurakami's interpretation of her music was great to watch in 2021, artistic gymnastics became less dance based due to code of points that also change every after an olympic year, athletes have to adapt.

I associate Grace with ballet and skill with gymnastics. The power comes with the evolution of the sport and perhaps small changes to the floor and equipment. In these clips, there seemed to be more wobbles in the grace collection, while 'wobbles', if any, are masked by creative moves in the power collection. Feel free to educate me politely, as I'm simply an occasional viewer of gymnastics.

You just don’t recognize landing a triple double on your feet like it’s nothing as graceful. Like do you not see them flying through the air and casually landing. If that isn’t graceful Idk what is.

you can tell when someone has more grace than power. in my opinion, when someone is gracefully they are floatey and very gentle when they land type. like nastia and suni, but power feels very like baam

some Gymnasts have both power and grace examples from prior generations include Elena Shushunova Henrietta Onodi Kelli Garrison Steves Phoebe Mills Shannon Miller Svetlana Boginskaya Lavinia Milosovici etc. granted styles evolve as the equipment improves in the 80s and 90s the difficulty of tricks was rated A-E and the grading System was out of 10.0 and not spilt into difficulty and execution as it has been since 2006. for example Shannon Millers highest score in event finals at the 1992 Olympics was 9.962 on Uneven bars which was only good enough for Bronze only about .4 out of Gold which was Lu Li of China with 10.0 and Silver was Tatiana Gutsu of unified team with a 9.975

I think this whole debate sexist . No one talks about mens gymnastics being graceful. In what other sport is graceful a standard? If you want grace make ballet a sport.

Watching this years Olympics I do miss grace , I will say watching the Italians a lot of their moves were pretty or beautiful to me. Also the gymnast Qiu Qiyuan on the uneven bars is beautiful to watch.

I think it'd be more compelling if you showed graceful clips from the same athletes in the power clips. There is no either or , each athlete plays to their strengths.

I wasnt aware of grace being a thing until Tokio with the Netherlands team. I thought "Why is this pretty to watch" and came to the realization of the art in the sport.

Its true, Mykayla Maroney have grace and power, its just too bad she had injuries and she's not that consistent. Her gymnastics is finer than ms. skinner.

Black gymnast is good in Power, while the eastern european good in Grace. I love the good old days grace with Romanian gymnast like Simona Amanar, Gina Gogean, Lavinia Milosovici and the rest.

Yeah, funny how gymnastics became terrible and boring when the black and brown girls, with their curvy bodies, began to dominate the sport.
