Finally got down to MGW to setup some things.
Peak power was the same as before but we weren’t chasing it. Power under the curve was the ultimate goal so we didn’t rev past 8500rpm’s

bredrin AWESOME, I just started fi mi little KP61 starlet 81 build here in Orlando , tore down the stock engine last weekend so i can send the block to be bored .5mm over . again very impressive Jah guide

Moving the curve 1000 to the left is pretty impressive. Lots of gains to be had when you start looking at responsiveness and under the curve calibration. Lots of dyno time required to do it right though.

Looking good. So you are using a vibrant IC? Does it’s core density have a limit on how many runs you get before heat soaked or has it been sufficiently keeping ait’s down for long periods of time? I’ve been trying to do research for a fmic. Thanks.

The Vibrant core is very efficient . The thickest with the most frontal surface area is what’s needed. My AIT sensor is in the manifold, it will heat soak sitting idling and even worse with the AC on. But once the car is moving it drops quickly. An example in the summer. Start temp is 123F after a pull 2-3 it drops to 97-98F. Pressure drop from turbo to intake is around 1.5psi

@@alltrac101 That is good to know, thanks. Based on my limited info I was starting to worry if I did not buy a garrett core that I could run into issues on a road course with a long series of boosting. I am currently keeping my WTA setup but I am taking down notes for when the time comes.

The 93 gen2 are 9 stud. Prior versions are 7
