Roll racing a Celica AllTrac ST185 at FL2K 22

This year the Annual FL2K Event was hosted at the World-Famous Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville Florida because of Hurricane Ian. It happened to be Homecoming for the Florida Gators 😁
On my first qualifying run my boost target was 40psi. It didn’t go as planned. Boost was over shooting target (Raised the boost cut this time 🤣) then the correction table would over compensate and drop boost way below target. Made some adjustments to the duty cycle and it did it worse. At this point I was going to mess with it any more during elimination. Car still trapped 155ish.
Got a Bye 1st round since my opponent didn’t show.
Raced a BMW in the 2nd round and trapped 154.
The 3rd I got a full drag awd Civic. It makes 1300+awhp and is extremely light. The Celica did it’s best, 😂 Turns put the Civic possibly hurt the transmission because it was blowing oil out of the Quaife Sequential.

Hey Chris thanks, I am aware. Fortunately I had a conversation with him before his passing. We always laughed and joked around about the “Cloak and Dagger” designation. He is dearly missed.

Thanks bro. What can u do to beat the red civic. Rebor the pistons to Max size and larger RIngs. Different gearbox with different gears size to run faster. Or copper clutch plate rally specs

Hey man, I drive a 1990 Celica GT-S and I’d like to source some 3S-GTE parts to turbo my 5S-FE and eventually convert the car to Alltrac. What’s your best advice for sourcing parts for these cars? I love mine and just want to give it the love it deserves

All track? It’s another that would just be different badges to over here being the gt4 celica or is it something different? Top build though it would be a formidable car on a sketchy surface! Would definitely keep a few Honda and v8 guys in check!

It’s confusing but the chassis is a ST185 just called AllTrac in the US. I have a GT-FOUR badge on it but might put back the All-Trac if I find it. 🤣
