Is buying a used 2006 like this good? Thinking about buying one near me but kind of skeptical due to age and seller put port engine replaced a few years ago. Not needing a very luxury one for my first boat.

Gas engines and out drives are usually good for 1000-1500 hours before any major services, sometimes depending on how the boat is driven it may need a valve job at half those hours. I’ve seen many go 4000+ hours without anything too major other than manifolds/risers, heat exchangers and regular servicing

Wouldnt ever buy a new boat….. always go wrong. Boats tend to age well if looked after so a 20yr old boat is nothing.
