i need help i have a white screen on my ipod 2g. sometimes it isnt white but its a screen with white lines going accross it or sometimes when i leave it for a while it goes back 2 normal but for maybe 30 sec then it flickers then goes back to white. can you plz tell me whats wrong ive tried holding down the sleep and home button till apple logo and also trided to restore it atleast 10 TIMES...PLZ HELP

My ipod touch 2nd gen's hold button doesn't work but my home button is 100% working. How to fix the it? I tried connecting the ipod on pc and no luck, the iTunes says: " Could not connect the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy. " But I have internet connection. What to do? You will have to factory reset the iPod with a computer if you don't know the lock code.

If you don't know the password you have to restore the iPod which will erase all the data on the iPod.
