Devon Larratt Hey Devon looking forward to your match up with Matt Mask in the WAL 405. I just watched last night Ryan Bowens Pod cast Pound for pound with John Brezenk talking with Matt. He sounds fired up to grip up and beat you down. It was a good watch, and got me even more pumped to watch this one. Should check it out, add some fuel to your fire. Anyway keep doing what you do!

Devon has done a LOT for armwrestling especially lately. Keep spreading the knowledge and passion. I loved to armwrestle as a kid and there's something about it that just makes you appreciate strength and competition. It's an ancient form of competition which breeds a kind of primal respect for the opponent. Try it out and be surprised how taxing it is on the body!

I have always admired arm wrestlers. It's the natural sport born in dark bars and other such places goin' way back. Women are doing it now...even children. The Hemingway book, The Old Man And The Sea, had an epic arm wrestle that kind of set the tone for the old fisherman's upcoming battle with a fish (his livelihood). One of the greatest books ever written. Love this video tremendously. Nothing but good decent people coming together for good sport...even their children are present. Trains and planes are booming about outside. Devon Larratt, and the maker of the video, and everybody else in this video are great. Love the ending. A classic.

I wonder for how long can Devon keep going toe toe with the best. Five years from now he'll be over the hill by the standards of any sport. Judging purely by age that is; not anyone's individual characteristics and neglecting the existence of potential genetic outliers.
@hemmydall6 жыл бұрын
The combination of strength and technique lasts a long time. He could go another decade in the sport potentially. John Brzenk is 54 and still has a current championship title. He won the largest competition as recently as 2015 (was 50 at the time).
@betofernandez55246 жыл бұрын
The problem is that Larratt arms were injured. With the age maybe you can be even more strong (in any sport there will be a limit for that, anyway) and keep learning things, BUT If your body is not in perfect condition you can't improve. Devon had his best years maybe in 2015-16-17? Probably. He won more matches. But he was stronger before the surgerys in my opinion. I'm talking about raw power. His matches were less endurance based like they are today. Maybe I'm wrong because Im just watching the videos and I dont know the truth. Is my perception. Hope he can still get stronger to rematch Denis. Maybe some roids could help. Denis is totally juiced, so, I think it would be fair.
