Around 9 years ago, I was lucky enough to have the whole seminar, twice in the same year. Part of it for free during practice and the other one I paid 100 bucks for around 2 hours of the whole thing. Still to this day and even though I haven't arm wrestle in ages, I still remember almost everything that Travis said. Believe me, that's gold and I would pay again just to see if he's updated some of the knowledge he's gained over the years. And for those who think Travis is not strong, well he lifted me from the ground to help me do some pull ups, I was 270lbs at the time....

@@amandahuginkiss4098 Owning and using people as slaves was so commonplace in the Roman Empire that not a single ancient writer is known to have condemned the practice. But all that would begin to change with the advent of the Christian movement. It is surprising that Philemon is not brought into this discussion more consistently, since it was Paul's letter to a slave owner (Philemon) about his runaway slave (Onesimus). In fact, the whole occasion for Paul's writing is that Onesimus, since running away from Philemon, has become a Christian. If Scripture were truly pro-slavery, what would you expect Paul to say here? Strikingly, Paul instructs Philemon to receive Onesimus "no longer as a slave... but as a dear brother"-and he appeals to Philemon to "receive him as you would receive me" (v. 17). LISTEN IT WAS A DIFFERENT WORLD! They DID THINGS DIFFERENT, FOR WHATEVER SOCIAL, GOVERNMENTAL ORDER. thats not the way things are or should they be! Paul's epistle to Philemon may not amount to a full abolitionist manifesto Nonetheless, I think it shows how the logic of the gospel is utterly opposed to slavery. BUT I GET IT I GET IT. it looks bad on paper, , HECK but dont throw out all faith in God for what Christians were forced to Navigate thru a Pagan Roman World. consider how God works throughout history in imperfect situations, and to see slavery in the larger context of God's greater purpose in creation and redemption.

9:10 yes but it does not put as much pressure on your side pressure like the conventional one. it would be mostly pushing forwards and little side pressure.
@VikingII6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it puts a very small amount of side pressure in a minor upward angle. The thing that is strange to me, is that he has a high side pressure technique, where he basically holds his bicep and elbow locked in a position, then hits side pressure as fast and hard as he can. So what I want to know, is how the hell is he able to handle such immense side pressure during a match if the only method he uses to train it, barely hits it.
@jasonvoorhees88996 жыл бұрын

Little V Little V when training back pressure keep your elbow directly underneath your hand. This allows you to train back pressure and keeps you in a good position to add side pressure to win the match. He also says you should keep the knuckles of your fingers below the knuckles of your fist as that mimics the starting position best. He says a lot of people train with large handles which leaves their hand open, but for his style of top roll you should have a tight fist
