I feel bad for tech reviewers doing gpu reviews right now. The video card market is basically dead for the average pc gamer right now. Most are playing the waiting game and not willing to pay double or triple msrp for most gpu's right now. For years we heard pc gaming is dying, and it was never even close to being true. But if things don't change here soon on memory and gpu prices this finally could be the thing that actually starts it's decline. Which really sucks!

It won't die off, I can promise you that for free. PC as general is a solid and it was always costly for the higher-end - it was worse back in the 2000s - constant upgrades, frustration/changes literally EVERY day. Now a few years of stagnancy is frustrating for us consumers. but it WAS for the better, companies and consumers had time to learn and reflect. They'll have to engineer newer tech at the same price, effectively dropping last-gen (or this gen, i mean) tech like memory and gpu's to lower prices. It already started dropping, and production of 7nm cpu's and such is already being done. How would people produce all these lovely apps on iphones or smartphones without a ADB/developer system/programmers or a computer, so to say? How will internet even function without servers, which are de-facto based on desktop-like systems? How would these big companies like pixar, disney make these lovely animated films? How do independent musicians even run fruity loops on the mobile versions? That's right, nothing to worry about. We had worse, this is the worst it's been for a few years but it's certainly no end to gaming on desktops. And don't worry about anyone who says otherwise, they are uneducated, impatient and hateful people who would only jump on PC if it was popular for their friends (reason: no real interest in something cool or nice.)

Hey, I can get this Vega for 240 Euros right now, but I have few questions. Is 650 W PSU enough and do all PSUs support its power connection type (2x8pin) , should it fit in MicroATX motherboard and Midtower ATX case ?

It really depends on the PSU. If it's a reputable brand then 650W will be sufficient. Again, same with the case... It depends on the dimensions. It's impossible to comment without knowing measurements!

Vortez, you state the card is locked at 800Mhz ram, but powercolor states it has 945Mhz, you also posted this on your site review. Can you confirm/deny if it actually does achieve this?

How is the power consumption when undervolted without touching the power limit. Does anyone knows? I am planning to buy the same exact card and use it in silent bios mode + undervolt myself. My concern is my PSU being 520w Seasonic M12II-520 Bronze. CPU Ryzen 5 1600 AF Stock. Looking at different videos I can see people are overclocking i7's and 1080ti on a 500w PSU but an answer from anyone more experienced will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Price just dropped to $399 in us. It's basically between this and the gtx 1070. They are more or less equivalent. If your playing 1440 I would say yes but that's just me.

I bought Red Dragon version... sadly it came with Hynix memory and it cannot be flashed but I got ok performance gains out of it when tweaked it few nights. Tweaked 56 performs like 1070ti/1080
