Thanks for checking it out McD! PD8 is the first version to include a few particle effects. I'm still trying to figure out how to use and modify them. But there are only so many things and scenes that one can have explosions, lightning, and flames bursting out of, hahaha.

Thanks kalaatualb! But I just recently graduated to the first grade myself. Lot's of possibilities and stuff to learn in PD8, so I just keeps plugging away. The forums have been a great help in picking up tips and knowledge about the program.

@jsycrf - Basically (though there was some extra tweaking involved)… Downloaded the original CL contest announcement video > Isolated a single fame of the background and placed in track 1 (Master track) > Put the girl in track 2 (PIP track) and used the Chroma Key tool in PIP Designer.

Thanks for your support Tony. There has been a lot of ballot stuffing and proxy voting, which always happens in these online contests (see contest thread on Cyberlink forum). So there has been some hurt feelings, frustrations, and accusations flying around. And some emotions are just running a little high. But we'll all survive, I hope, hahaha. Thanks again!

Cool effects ... are these effects all available on PD8? I regret I was buying Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0 a few weeks ago. Very instable program .... and of course almost zero effects ... hoped to have at least a few basic effects like they're offering in their expensive After Effects, haha but of course not, it's Adobe.
