Broke my heart when Andrew stone said how possibly the best moto racer from India is struggling to finance his own goals. And made me smile that even after that, he is not giving up on this dream. It may not be him, but he wants to see another Indian achieve what he couldn't. It's rare to find people like these. I have nothing but massive respect for people like them. A big salute to you, Rajini sir.

it really broke my heart when I heard Andrew stone's comment regarding funding for Rajini. This was rather a deja-vu moment. pretty sure this has happened in other sports as well. Hope sports get the recognition they need and I must applaud the intentions of Rajini himself, if not him, it will benefit someone else, he said. Proud to be a motorist with riders like him. I never knew Sarge had a Daytona :o

@4:06 . I remember in one of the Top Gear episodes, Jackie Stewart telling James May saying something about not to touch the throttle coming out of the corner until he was completely sure and then floor it. His lap time improved by 20 seconds after getting coached by the ex-F1 driver. So many technicalities that us normal people are unaware of.

The problem with pursuing motorsports in India is basically the lack of encouragement and funding. I don't if everyone would agree, but motorsports is an expensive passion to follow. Ever since I started riding, I've always wanted to get down on a racetrack, but financial limitations along with lack of infrastructure has stopped me from pursuing it. It's really sad that all I can do is take the risk of doing it on the road (lavasa).

These guys in MMRT Sri Perumbudur (Chennai) and the people Coimbatore City have been patronizing racing since the 1960s when most people in India had absolutely no idea that a sport like this even existed.. They've been at it through tough economic times.. This is India's racing Meccah, Tirupati, The Holy Mosques of Jerusalem - all clubbed into one.. It is good to have a great circuit called Buddh in Delhi.. may be a few more in Calcutte, Mumbai and other places --- BUT Why are these tracks not being upgraded/new ones being built.. DOESN'T THE CENTRAL GOVT. NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THESE TRACKS AND UPGRADE THEM? THESE TRACKS GAVE INDIA ALL OF OUR F1 Drivers.. It is sad that these guys have to pretty much run the show with minimal support.. they're doing a great job for people with little financial backing from the Govt. The Central Govt. Needs to throw in more money muscle behing the Kari Motor Speedway and the MMRT - if they do, I'm sure India can dominate Motor Racing at the Global level.. We can do way better than even Japan, and be at the level of Finland, Germany, France etc.

Why do they apply decals on the headlights?
@manoxgarg9 жыл бұрын
To prevent any reflections that may disrupt fellow racers
@aman51759 жыл бұрын
+Manox Garg they dont have mirrors on track bikes, it so if the bike drops the glass won't shatter, it gives support to the headlights.
@powerdriftofficial9 жыл бұрын
+Priston Rebello There are two reasons for that. One- small rocks might bust your headlamp at high speeds and the second is that in case of a crash, there should be no debris on the track as small shards of glass may damage the tires on the other bikes. :)

Quick question, Why the headlights are covered with brown tapes? I have seen it in many racing tournament... They just hide the headlight... Why?
@monkey-business24598 жыл бұрын
They headlights have been removed from the socket , so that's why they cover it with brown tape .
@carinyo1238 жыл бұрын
Reason for removing the bulbs? To make the bike lighter? IDK, would you explain...
@abishekrao54778 жыл бұрын
Banana Nana in case the bike has a fall, for safety all glass parts are removed or taped to prevent breakage.
@johnrupesh45357 жыл бұрын
primary reason is weight.. all the usesless components are removed frm the bike so that it can be light weight

+Vipin Sood Usually when you go racing and end up crashing/hitting something on track the glass/plastic cover of headlights crack easily. Any debris especially glass is extremely dangerous on a race track, could take someone's life if there is a tyre puncture at those speeds. So usually when we go track racing in street car(or bike in this case), we tape the headlights(anything which is glass in fact). And it looks cool!
