I own a yezdi scrambler. Let me make it clear City mileage : 25kmpl (after 2.5k kms before that it's 18kmpl) Highway mileage : 30kmpl (before 2.5k..after that I've not gone for a long ride) Power : Same or even better than the Duke 250. Braking : Definitely the best in this segment, just get a ride on it and u can feel the bite. Vibration : Yes, if u undershift and overshift Heating : becomes iron box 🥵 in dead traffic, but will get used to it easily. Torque : it's a high revving engine...can feel the power above 4k rpm Suspension : Totally agree with what's mentioned in the video, very stiff, it's adjustable to an extent. Handling : Just like a street bike I'm 6.2ft tall. I always wanted to own a duke 250. But since when I ride the bike, it looks like I'm sitting on a really small bike and it's adv model is very bulky as well as lacks power, I had no other option for all these years. And I am a big fan of street bikes too. And finally I got the Yezdi scrambler!!! What is a scrambler? Ans : A powerful street bike with minimal off roading capabilities. No need to mention powerful when addressing a street bike, but since a lot of people are still confused what a scrambler is I had to. So here's the conclusion Scram 411 : 1. Not a powerful street bike (tou cannot find a duke with great low end Torque, can you? And it's a fact that duke is street bike!!!) 2. Got off roading capabilities. Scrambler: 1. Powerful street bike 2. Minimal off roading capabilities You can decide which one is a scrambler. Cheers!!!

With this engine, Royal Enfield's problem is that it's done. This almost the peak it can reach, and any improvements will always be incremental. Compared to that, the engine Yezdi uses has a lot to improve on, which means in a year or two, Yezdi can imporve it a lot. But.... if RE releases the new Himalyan 450 even next year, YEzdi will be completely blown away, since their biggest winning point is that the bike is more powerful and looks better. From the patent, the new RE will be around 10 bhp more powerful and at least just a s good looking. Yezdi made the mistake of benchmarking a bike that is already on it's way out.

Critisizing tall gearing has become one of the hallmarks of the motorcycle press worldwide, it sems - and it is one of most silly critisisms worldwide as well! Calculating speeds from the gear ratios published in the manual, you will soon find out that peak performance at 5500 rpm corresponds pretty well with top speed at 140 kph. So this is one very the few motorcycles that does not rev beyond peak power at top speed. Gearing is absolutely perfect. And if speed drops below 115 kph, use 4th gear on hills. If you don't like shifting gear, buy automatic on 4 wheels. I absolutely hate short gearing, because it is of no use touring as it drives up fuel consumtion, wear and tear and is no fun either. Motorcycles with short gearing will not appear on my shopping list, which excludes most Yamahas and Kawasakis to name but a few. Do the math before critisizing tall gearing.

3:16 there isn't a dB killer on the scrambler used in this but i have seen a dB killers in the exhausts which are welded and therefore not removable, in the showrooms near my town do the test ride units don't get the dB killer ? if so this is very bad they are portraying something and selling something insignificantly different for the masses but still exhaust note is something that a few set of people care about

Scram 411 is far better than yezdi scrambler in every conditions trust me guys one of my friend own 2018 Himalayan which I normally rode but after test ride of scram 411 I can say that RE does lots of improvement in terms of refinement, handle, it was actually way better than I thought ,but I'm agree that in terms of power yezdi is slightly better than scram but the thing is if you really wanna fun aggressive motorcycle so why don't you choose duke250 over scrambler 🤨

Fun in offroad is the thing needed, so no to 250

Lol😂if you ride the scrambler you can get to know that it's more powerful than the Duke 250

I never rode scrambler but have seen ppl riding close by and the noise it makes from chain, from engine... I'd prefer Autorikshaw

No contest. Only one of these is actually a scrambler.

Save money buy xpulse and get service headaches 😬 I m an owner and bought xpulse after Shumi was happy with it. The bike is nice but service is nightmare

Would really liked to see how Svartpilen250 compares to both... despite engine displacement it does have that scram character!!

With its unrealistically lower ground clearance and fuel capacity, it's not a practical bike.

Even tho company claims its a scrambler and a caferacer in my opinion husqvarna is more of a street fighter category. Just like triumph trident, cb650r type

PD bot here. I would like to avoid both and buy anything else. Buying the xpulse 200 4v makes most sense, now that I have ridden one and loved it.

i am much excited to buy scram 411, but i am not much experienced with spoke wheels and how it will be long run compared to tubeless alloy wheels? i checked the meteor as well, looks like rim size is same as front 19" & rear 17", so can i swipe the scram 411 with alloy wheels with tubeless tire? what will be the impact for longrun ? impact on milage will go down? i havent seen the himalayan or new scram modiified with alloys yet

I was at first a fan of scrambler's design but after a test ride I too felt that it has some issues. The scram 411 is smoother. I think scram 411 is the better bike clearly. Obviously it's design isn't better than the scrambler but I don't think it's bad. It's a decent design. If I'd to pick I'd pick the scram 411 cuz of its superior engine refinement as compared to scrambler.
