7:22 , in the US, when i was riding in groups and bike nights, when you're riding, you either ride in a formation, or ride in a line ( i follow the front tail light, and follow the headlight in my mirror , behind me , and it's always a must to have Comms in our helmets, which is rarely seen in india , unless it's a very responsible guy.
@p.chakraborty44533 жыл бұрын
9:45 i hate to admit, but actually it's true, in America, it's about Big Dick energy, if your friends got a 500cc bike, get a litre class bike, lmfao, that's the worst part over there..
@p.chakraborty44533 жыл бұрын
10:57 i have another ideas , get a whole group of Multistradas with radars, get all of them in the highway, turn on active cruise control, set the stuff and let it do the job lol.

I don't like Group rides, my last group ride to Goa from Bangalore took me about 17-18hrs 😁 At the same time I hate Solo rides too, I feel its not safe in many ways. The best what I feel is riding with one or max two riders. Video is best as always with the two most lovely ppl. Just that too many beeps😂😂

Wow i have alot to share too, I'm comfortable with my group. We've been riding from when we were kids, like from cycle - moped - shine/splendor - to now which is 250-300 cc bike. I can't ride with ppl I dont trust. Riding with friends is trusting them with your life. I'm proud to say that we have a pattern. We all (3ppl)meet with a day b4 with our bike (to be ridden next day). Check air, top up fuels, re fill first aid, check tool kit , lube chain. We're never late n fully geared (lvl2). And ofc Never break rules anywhere... And many other small rules...which are subjective.

This is an incredible video. Something every single biker must watch. I am a person who rides for convenience, choose a bike as my mode of transport because car was too difficult and expensive. I occasionally does some rides for having some fun, but never does super long distance touring as i cant enjoy them, which i keep it for my car as i felt more comfortable in it. I am a person who hates to go group rides. And when i go, i am just the person shumi said an army man with motorcycles, i scold and gets bit aggressive on immature or indisciplinary actions of my fellow riders. And punctuality is a must for me Also these immature behaviour forced me to stop attending any of riders club meetup and festivals.(ktm orange days especially) So i only ride with a very few people whom i could handle and adjust with my road rules. I thought this was a problem with me until now where i found i was doing things just fine. Kudos team powerdrift And thank you shumi and Varun for this awesome content

im having a smaller 125cc honda... i like to go for weekend rides, almost 100-150km most of the weekends. Every single time me go out in a group ride all off the other riders will be in much larger bikes than mine. at some point they will be struggling to go slowly to accommodate me, or i had to go fast, pushing my bike harder... so i decided to go for solo rides. SOLO is better when you have a small bike.. because your not making your frends bored going slow.. . but also having a smaller bike will give you an advantage of more fuel economy, so that you can go rides every weekend.

Just recently discovered these podcasts and I must say these are awesome. Really useful insights here. So I do fall under the category of the person who is still trying to find a nice group to ride with. But have recently discovered that the people I want to ride with have bigger bikes than I have. How do you make that dynamic work? Have you ever been in a ride where the mix of the bikes are pretty drastic say ranging from something like the RE 350s to the 600cc+ middle weight bikes or even bigger?

At the end after some time people stop following rules(not talking about traffic rules). And goes haywire. That's why I ride mostly solo.!! If I have to ride in a group it's mostly two bikes or max 3 very rarely. Because most of my friends are not bikers. They just see me go on trips and just wanna join.

I just think we need to acknowledge the fact that we are all road users and respect other vehicles right to use the road. I think this is not the case with a lot of group rides. Group rides are too much work. Multiple heads, multiple ideas. I personally think as long as you ride carefully solo, there's a much much lower chance of a crash than in a group where it's very likely. I tell my friends you go ahead at your pace, I'll do it at my own, if at all I'm involved or required to ride together.
