I often drive VW cars (mainly Golf GT of my friend) in Germany, if you compare the VW cars you get here in Germany and what is offered in India. It is laughable that Indian consumer have to pay so much amount for so little. VW is not gaining any good names now here as well. People have started switching now. German automobile giants have been taken over by the marketing people instead of the engineers how it used to be. VW fan boys the engine is great the drive is great but don't we deserve better interiors now?! Common it just seems VW still seems to have a very wrong perception of Indian consumers.

Wow what I video. The things you did in this video with the 1lt variant, I almost doubt myself paying a few lacs extra to get the 1.5lt DSG :D Keep bringing such videos, where you can just feel the pure love and enthusiasm of driving a car, instead of talking about specs and numbers and list of features.

Higher price means better quality - Used to be like that But Now mostly higher price means Manufacturers got greedy with high profit margin and you can also blame the greedy Government who want to have a fair share of the cut, to eat People bought Creta E Diesel in 2020 for 11.7L are now selling it for 12L. Because current price is 14L. And current version also misses out on Electrically adjustable orvm, while earlier one had it Earlier 9.99 used to be CSUV segment, very quickly it became SCSUV and now just hatchback Absolute waste of money. VW used to offer this 1L engine at only 8.7L on road. Now it's almost 14.5L , car with slightly better ground clearance and dimensions

⁠what BS. the 1.0 TSI was on Polo GT which was at at 12.5 L on road 4 years ago!! Make some sane comparisons!! I own a high line Taigun and love it. Absolutely worth the slightly higher price.

@@hardikp7310 agreed. I own a 1.2mpi polo and the quality of the car is much much better than the 2.0 versions. Honestly, Taigun is a cut down version (cheaper) of their global models. Agreed its a 5 star rated and stuff, but the levels of VW has been lowered from Polo. And all these costs easily arnd 15-20 lacs. Not worth!

No one appreciates the archaic hand brake. Taigun is far behind its peers when it comes to features. I have a vw and I wanted another. Taigun was supposed to be my go to car but was sorely disappointed with manual hand brake, Manually adjustable seats, small sun roof, poor single horn, while the cars in the same price point have gone far ahead. VW needs to buck up!
