Jeep needs to update itself to keep up with the koreans and the mahindras for a price sensitive market like India. It's like they have not learned anything from GM and Ford.

Brother...it is not jeep's fault....in this segment koreans are also not successful....if u will give quality,product will automatically become pricier....Citroen is flop in this segment, tiguan , Tucson and many other cars are big flop.....only thing jeep can do is to expand their lineup with cheaper cars and other small segment cars from their other companies like fiat etc...

IDk people say JEEP needs an update but do you think it really does? Like despite the price tag except the engine every single thing is either better or comparable to that off Fortuner

Jeeps aftersales, its a nightmare. So many owners have seen transmission and electronic failures, quality issues and what not and the worst part is Jeep is unable to resolve issues. The Meridian is anything but not peace of mind like a Fortuner is. If you don't need 7 seats Tucson is the best option followed by Kodiaq and then comes the Meridian.

​@@kunal_meenaa Jeep outside india got issues but never heard major quality or reliability issues on Compass and meridian....and service here in kerala is quite satisfactory to say the least but yeah service cost is on the higher side compared to the segment

@@viratagarwal2412 They clearly are rivals when it comes to 40-50 lakhs monocoque AWD SUVs. Kodiaq is its key competitor being 7 seater. As a Brand Jeep is performing bad both in India and worldwide while both hyundai and Skoda are growing, Jeep is on a steep 30% decline when it comes to Sales.

Have the same model FWD automatic and driven almost 20k in last 6 months across, Leh, Spiti, Ghats, Highways and I would say that so called lack in power was never felt. It always had juice when I needed and I am in not mood of Need for speed rather a powerful start which it is more than capable of.

Full marks for video making but unfortunately company sells less than 70 units a month. Also, when you see the Meredian from behind, exhaust system & tail pipe can be easily seen which is not a good sight. Not something one would like to see when he/she spends more than 40 lakhs.

Fiat has moved out of the country ,expect Jeep and Citroen next. Fiat produced cars with best engine and value for money with superb build quality but poor management of sellantis could make any jump witha good product.Same will happen with Jeep,do not buy Jeep or Citroen ,waste of money time and service centres are pathetic

Bro - don’t do such promos - it brings down your credibility as a auto journalist Jeep meridian sold 68 cars last month ! If it is so good as you claim the sale should have reflected that……! All the review videos when this car was launched have given it as average rating for the price it asks. Like Jeep, this car is flop in India
