This is one of my favourite Ghana Patha from Shukla Yajur Veda (Kaanva Shaakha), especially during the occurences of the padas - Ghrtham, Ene, Ajanat, Namnamaane, and the chant is very beautiful to listen to. - K Suresh About this Mantra: ** This is the 25 & 26th Mantra appearing in the 18th Adhyaaya of Sukla Yajur Veda (Kaanva Saakha). Also appears as 25 & 26th Mantra in 17th Adhyaaya of Shukla Yajur Veda (Maadhyandina Saakha), addressed by Rishi BHUVANPUTRA VISVAKARMA. **This Mantra is recited in all Auspicious occasions and considered as best Blessing Mantra to improve EYE sight. "Meaning" of this Mantra: When the ruler, Vishvakarma, is of calm and resolute mind, protects the vision of human-being and prevail justice, and promotes the creation of food and wealth. When the people bow to Him in obedience and act in unison like parts of one organism, then only the people and the government strengthen each other and grow like the earth and heaven. Vishvakarma is the creator of the world, sustainer of the universe, and supreme reality, The wise sages call Him as one and absolute, wherein the humans with their five senses, mind and intelligence rejoice and they realise their supreme ambitions.

These verses actually suggest some work that needs to be done. But over 5000 years, and due to loss of older sanskrit, people now think that chanting or listening to this can solve problems. No. Just following what the sloka says is the real way to go. Few drops of good quality GHEE in eyes will cure them.
