Hi Amie. I've just watched your earlier beginners series, and I have to say of all the 'hundreds' of videos I've watched yours are by far the 'very, very' best! I'm a 64 yr old male living in the UK and I only started playing golf 2 1/2 months ago!! I've had several (fairly expensive), lessons with my local PGA coach and all though I've learnt a lot, your videos have helped me identify my errors/bad habits and have improved my game immensely. Your style of coaching, your obvious talent, your personality and your explanation is commendable! So, thank you for your time and effort, and please, please continue produce more videos. If only I lived near to your base!!

I watched a few of your vids before hitting the range tonight. They helped me out, bigtime. I was able to address issues in my swing, because of your videos. This video made me aware of the finer details that I haven't seen addressed, in the videos that I've seen in the past. You explain the concepts clearly, and concisely. You don't dwell on a topic for longer than you should. I'm a fan of your teaching style, and I appreciate your work. Thanks.

I came across your channel after watching your explanation of hybrid swing. you are the first pro to explain the longer the club, more separation is needed. Brilliant! I just started incorporating separation into my swing and I was confused why my 8 and 9 irons started performing badly. thank you so much for your videos.

wow... i think i had found the holy grail to my driver swing, the core ..! I have been turning the hips so fast so much so my shoulders lost it's timing.

Hi Amie, wanted to let you know I've been watching your videos, applying the lessons and realizing results on the course. For me some of the most valuable lessons were on the difference between driver and iron swings and the one where you emphasize keeping hands in synch with the shoulder turn. Even though the cardboard triangle, with buttons, is one of your lower tech props it has probably helped me the most. Thanks!

I've been struggling with my driver lately. Often I feel that I'm just swinging my club with upper body..... and the more bad shots I hit, I get more and more timid in my swing and notice that my swing is not at all powerful. Thank you for this video!!! I will definitely try this!

Hi Aimee. You are so close! ❤️ However to start the downswing Bobby Jones years ago said to simply twitch/ fire the left/lead hip ( right handed players). At 77 that one swing thought has change my golfing life for the better. The fact is that our lead side small fast twitch muscles provide the sling shot effect explosive power for our downswing. Cheers. 🥂😊👍❤️

Nice video Aimee! I’ve vastly improved my ball striking of late by taking a smaller back swing and reducing tension at the top allowing me to sync my turn with my arms. Mostly because since I don’t stretch to far back turning through is much easier.

Thanks Aimee. My hip turn, at this point, is my weakest area of the golf swing. Confusion lies in sliding the hip over the foot as you turn on the down swing or turn the hips without the slight slide.

Love your videos, watch every single one in English. So fun! Do we need to push right foot to start downswing? How high the left arm should be on top of up swing please? Thanks heaps! xx
@GolfWithAimee4 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much! You’re the best ☺️👍 Everyone is different, but you can try pushing with the right foot to start with. If it doesn’t work well for you, then you can try different moves. When you are initiating the downswing, your hands should stay at the top of the backswing as long as possible. I hope this helps! Thank you. 😊

Coach Aimee I'm struggling with the HIP MOVE. , In downswing my hips spin out too fast and shoulders get lost behind, right elbow is stuck, my swing fault proves very destructive to my long irons and fairway wood shots, my misses are slices, topshot and fat shots. I have some good shots but overall very inconsistent . Could you please show how to create (initiate) better sequencing between my lower and upper body 🙏 TIA Tim

Sometimes I feel my obliques kicking in but today I was feeling just above in my right rib-cage area, whatever muscles are in that area. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong today. Is that because I was turning too quickly perhaps?
@GolfWithAimee3 жыл бұрын
Hi! You could feel pressure higher up rather than the obliques if your grip pressure is little tighter than normal. Or have more tension in the arms or shoulders. What you’re feeling can lead to rib injuries, so please check on that! 😊 I hope this helps!
@sfink163 жыл бұрын

You are very welcome. Just one brief question. When you say apply pressure with the left hand, I couldn't work out if you mean towards the body or down the shaft towards the club face? Other than that I wish I had carried on playing 40 yrs ago! I may have been reasonably good by now 😂
