In my hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas Vince Gill was there to perform a concert many years ago. When he found out that the concert was to benefit habitat for humanity he refused payment and instead insisted that the proceeds go towards the habitat for humanity fundraiser. Vince Gill and his wife Amy Grant are heavily involved in habitat for humanity. A Habitat for Humanity home was named after the couple, and the entire road in which the house sits is now called Grant Gill Lane. Grant and Gill have been continually active with the charity throughout the years, donating time and money to building homes for underprivileged families. Way to go George! Vince Gill and Amy Grant would be proud of you!
