Since 2013, Russia has deployed Pantsir S-1 to Syria amid the country’s civil war to defend its soldiers and Syrian government forces.
The Pantsir has also played a role in the Russian/Ukrainian conflict. Notably, pieces from a Pantsir 57E6 missile were found in Ukraine in November 2014, and in December, it was confirmed that Russia had deployed the air defense system to the Russia-Ukraine border region. In February 2015, reports and footage of Pantsirs being used by pro-Russian forces in Ukraine’s Donetsk region surfaced. The system has also been deployed in the Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine.

It's funny how people are so happy when a weapon system is destroyed. Of course, it can be destroyed. The best system in the world can be eliminated. The question is, how much defense did the system offer for the surroundings and the troops before being destroyed. Shooting down that F-117 was indeed a feat, but it was mostly attributable to poor mission planning by the USAF, flying a predictable flight path day after day when there were agents in place reporting exactly when the aircraft took off. That battery commander did a remarkable job, but he could have been defeated by better planning by the USAF.

For those who say: "Turkey destroyed Pantsir s1" or "Pantsir is Useless". 1) no matter how perfect the weapon is,the most important Thing is the skills and training of the soldiers. And the Syrians are not doing very well... For example, when Israel destroyed Pantsir-the Syrian Operators were outside the Car and Pantsir was turned off (Because they ran out of ammunition and were waiting for replenishment) I should have left, though. And this is not the only case of negligence of the Syrian military. Here is another case with a tank, when a Tow flew into the tank and hit the tank. They didn't activate the guided missile Defense system -After the missile hit the tank - it was on the move and almost fully functional (the machine gun and some external equipment burned down). THEY JUST RAN AWAY. Even if the Syrian army is given a Super invulnerable tank with a protective field...they will lose it in a few hours. 2) Pantsir s1 was Constantly used by the Russian military to destroy drones,missiles, bombs, etc. No units were destroyed.
