you should have tested nickel plated steel or pure nickel and cooper strip sandwich at the end, because it is ultimate test for spot welder, because only high end welders are capable in doing that

Try please with 8ah parkside batteries. They have pure nikel and is too hard to weld. I have tried already two velders without success.

Today I welded the original nickel strips from a battery pack and it did very well. But I'll try the Parkside ones tomorrow and get back to you.🙂

Today I tried on a Wurth battery that had the copper plates torn and welded them without problem at 7ms welds👌
