Using low melt solder helps tremendously removing the charge port. I did this repair yesterday it went great. I did not need hot air gun or all the tape. Never realized how good I was at soldering until I watch some of the guys videos on KZbin.

As someone who has watched a lot of Louis Rossman repair videos, it's refreshing to see someone use a sane amount of flux when soldering. XD

Sorry but can you help me? I have that laptop and from one day to the next the battery did not work but I opened it to change the thermal paste and change its battery for a new one gives me a charging signal turns on the white light on the side but does not turn on or do anything please help
