@brentrichards12002 жыл бұрын
You are correct. 79 through early 83 used the srod. Late 83 through 93 used the T5. T5's were also used in Mustang v6's until 2010. The TKO was never a factory option.

This is a nice frame. I prefer to buy a crown Victoria and install the suspension and drivetrain. It's so easy to swap, it's like ford did it on purpose.
@robertelee67123 жыл бұрын
@Stupid Liberals A crown vic comes with rack and pinion steering that maybe depending on mileage and the previous owner may need a couple of tie rods and a few bushings that will cost about $100. I can pick up a good crown vic for around 3k. I can use the entire suspension and drivetrain and hvac system and seats if I wish. I have a 56 f100 with this setup and a 55 f100 that I bought a 98 explorer with a 5.0 Awd that I put the 55 f100 on with very few modifications. If I need any parts, I can simply go to Ford or Autozone and get the parts. I'm not some keyboard warrior assuming anything or a lazy ass that too lazy to change a fews parts.

the ford V6 they sell now is no joke with aftermarket turbos they can make 900HP all day and over 1000 with little effort if needed . it's the same engine in Hoonigan's hoonitruck except the Hoonitruck runs the Ecosport version of the same engine making 916 hp and 702 foot pounds of torque .think about it like this buy this as a crate engine get a set of headers and an aftermarket turbo and you have a 600 plus hp crate engine in your car or truck that weighs half what a V8 or iron block Japanese 6 would weigh

I put a thumbs down due to the fact that they actually didn't do a restoration on the truck.... All they did was show a new frame, put together a new suspension while putting it on the truck then show the engine+transmission parts and nothing of putting anything together or painting.... the most that was helpful was how to pressure test the coolant lines and thats about it. I honestly thought the behind the story was kinda or somewhat irrelevant only due to the fact that I was waiting for a full episode of getting your hands dirty and putting every thing together instead of "hey look at what we got. Its expensive so were just only going to show yall the little stuff of it." They didnt even put the body on the new frame yet like wth. This video is a form of click here and well show you our resto build but its A CLICKBAIT
