16:26 you can change the speedometer and shift speed with the programmer. You can not increase hp or torque on a n/a engine. The pcm does not control air flow off idle. If you want more power. You will need to change the cam or boost the engine.

18:18 Those "slots" are only there to keep the "dimples" from cutting groves in your pads... according to EBC. : )

I would definitely not go gloss for the finish but a Flat or matte finish for the frame or even use a spray in bed liner like process to coat the frame.

Ok I just looked up prices for a junk and crate 3.5 EcoBoost. Both prices are in line with what a equivalent horsepower v8 cost! So before I go on a bashing on v6s! Is there anybody out there who would actually do a build with the 3.5 EcoBoost and why? I'm just curious...

Those slip joints (or whatever) that let the intercooler piping move under engine torque without loosing boost pressure in genius!

There is more than enough room for the stock intercooler. Don't lie and say it can't handle the higher boost either. Remember Ford had a problem with them cooling too much. That is why they blocked off some of the cooler.

Link on that tuner please. And will it work on a 15 5.3? I put 33 inch tires on it and my truck does the exact things yalls truck was doing.

@Spencer7445 _ The 3.5 can pull alot of Hp! Still sounds like a sewing machine. 5.0 has the best v8 note out of almost any v8.

Cool late model motor. Whats sad is a Briggs and stratton would be an improvement and more reliable. Always sucks going backwards with a project. And I mean no disrespect to briggs and st. comparing them to that scrap metal yall are calling a motor.

@Spencer7445 _ it started out life in the Taurus sho , Then went on to the f150s then the ford gt . Hopefully ford will step up there game because if they dont the new Corvette will eat their lunch!

Every Ecoboost I have owned had an issue. Ford quality is up to par with Dodge= JUNK
