A childs genes are more common to reflect the most dominant genes of their parents, but the more recessant genes are still present and can present themselves.

Ethiopian orthodox is one of my favourites I've visited. They have Christianty long before north Europeans. However it must be said that when we say " Africans" we are talking about sub Saharan Africans that were described as " burnt of skin ". The Africans in Egypt were not " black ", they were the same as all the other southern/ Eastern Mediterranean people of the time. The Kush were certainly " black " by modern standards.
