The truth is powerpoint should have much better pre-programmed animations and options than it currently does
@uwahhhama11 ай бұрын
Yeah it's sad that we need to do it manually in this current technology
@Pseudynom11 ай бұрын
In most professional and academic settings animations aren't used in presentations. They are a waste of time and effort for something that lasts a second and people might not even notice.
@Ryanstuff11 ай бұрын
@@Pseudynom yes I think that's a fair assessment but you still have folks that want a more modern and engaging presentation without having to jump through hoops. I think the reason I made the original comment is because if you can find a roundabout way to make some of these animations happen I feel as though Microsoft should just have some of this stuff built in at this point.

Unpopular opinion: slideshow tools are the best for graphic design
@themelancholyofdude9594 ай бұрын
Welcome to my rant about PowerPoint. You know I made a PowerPoint presentation with audio clips that are synced to the sides of a 72 sided figure appearing. Making the 72 sided figure was easy and took about 20 minutes. I then had to spend the rest of the afternoon figuring out how to optimize the slideshow so PowerPoint wouldn't have a stroke when 72 lines appeared on screen. In the end I had to screenshot every state of my 72 sided shape so technically only one object was appearing at a time. PowerPoint is now sold as a subscription service that costs $100/year. Microsoft has had over 20 years to optimize PowerPoint. Putting 72 lines on a single slide is enough to completely break a presentation... You know what, I'm just gonna use a flipbook at this point. Cool vid. Definitely would use if it wouldn't melt my work computer.
@StevDevOfficial11 ай бұрын
Can i use VBA for this? Instead of doing manually i think is better if we can get the list of the hexagon objects and set the value to the property.

That looked complicated like ass....... Though honestly, I haven't worked for like 20 years with powerpoint. If I ever do something like a presentation, I do it as a single video file, that has dedicated freezed moments in the clip, where I'm supposed to pause it. This animation here would be so much easier in a video editing program.
