Hey Mark, I'm impressed by your deep thoughts, to me, your lessons ain't just about English, you are tryna teach us to think deeply about the world, though I think as an average person, if you wanna stay happy, stay away from the news, there is nothing nice in the news, it's all about chaotic world, political conflict, misery, poverty and so on. It's hard to stay away from the news though. Anyway, massive thanks for teaching such super-advanced vocabulary and phrases. God bless

Good lesson. 👍🏻Many phrases thrown in. 'Grunt worker' is entirely new to me. I draw comfort from the fact that even the powers that be are subject to the control of our Creator. 😁

Hi, Mark! The lesson is great. I've learned new idioms and expressions. Nowadays I feel like a small fish in a big ocean more often than before. Who are the powers that be? Who gave them the right to control our lives and don't take any consideration for ordinary people feelings?!

sorry do we say in the shade or in the shadows?
@MadEnglishTV6 ай бұрын
It depends on what you want to say. Both have different meanings.
@Englishlover096 ай бұрын
@@MadEnglishTV cause to me, in the shade is correct when we refer to the shade of tree, and mostly shadow is related to the shadow of people, motion objects…

Hi," the powers that be " is Bible, KJV, Romans 13. Like all other good things, man ( sin) has corrupted the powers, but not to worry, God will be setting up his own power. Rev. 19. Keep the faith 😊
