I want to see what one of those subs would do in an SPL application inside a CRX

Saying this dude knows his $hit is an understatement! I love his videos, good explanations relative to things a lot of people can understand. I always try to give similar type examples when I explain sound to someone, because you can't see it it's hard for some people to grasp the same.

They seem like they would be perfect for low tuned home theater or loud low and windy car audio applications just saying

this is super cool to see. but it also makes me a little sad. Years ago when m-force first came out I sent several emails to powersoft looking to develop an m-force sub for cinema use and after like the fifth email, the powersoft response was basically "don't bother" even though I had my own working cinema in Los Angeles and the cash to put into the project. I'm in the live sound business now and I am actually hesitant t buy any of their products because of this experience.

Can anybody confirm the claim of one supersub bein two or three times louder then a single or dual 18?
@SheikhN-bible-syndrome3 жыл бұрын
Nope and personally I'm not convinced
@EBMproductions13 жыл бұрын
@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome so i did some research and these are 30 inch woofers each with up to 15 000watts RMS with 3 inches of excursion which means yes they are louder then a dual 18 BUT very very pricey and dual 18's will be enough then for most people's needs i myself would love one of these beasts but sadly their way out of my budget.
@SheikhN-bible-syndrome3 жыл бұрын
@@EBMproductions1 damn what brand were those 30" subs?
@EBMproductions13 жыл бұрын
@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome the ones in the video their Powersoft m force drivers largest variants are 48 inches 😅 they can play as low as 12hz and move 3 inches in one direction if i could Dj with one i would but yeah veryyyyyy pricey im looking at 21 inchers for larger stuff and 15s for small events
