Ok, you said comment if you're watching on replay and I am. I love Sherri and Chelsi and I LOVE YOU! All of you give such great instructions and tips, but you go into much more detail and that's what I love the most. You don't assume we know anything or very little and you walk us through each step helping us to get the BEST OUTCOME possible. I first heard about this quilt along on A Quilting Life and fell in love with Laguna Sunrise and decided to do the qal with Sherri and Chelsi. Then shortly afterwards YOU announced you were going to do the same qal beginning Dec. 16th which was after SandC were starting. I was so happy because I KNEW YOU WOULD BE DOING STEP BY STEP VERY CLOSELY and if I needed any help you would be explaining it on your channel. I knew I couldn't fail between the two of you!! Quite honestly I look at S and C for colors and to get inspired for that next block and I NEED to watch you for HOW TO CONSTRUCT THE NEXT BLOCK! I HOPE that's not offensive as I am loyal to BOTH of your channels and you each have different things to contribute and I NEED YOU BOTH! Thank you for all that you do for us quilting buds! I'm retired and now sleep in 😂so I catch you on replay! Merry Christmas!❤

Watching on the replay. Had to go to earlier. Stayed up late doing bowl cozies. I must sew a lot slower than most of our quilty friends...it takes me about an hr per cozie, not counting cutting...and I am using assembly line methods.

Becky, would you explain spinning your seams, related to nesting? Being a newbie, I don’t know what that means. Thanks!
@PowerToolsWithThreadКүн бұрын
Spinning seams is an advanced technique to flatten out a seam where lots of fabrics come together, like on a pinwheel block. You need to know which threads to clip so the seams flatten out like a tiny pinwheel on the back. I'm still not sure how to do it myself! lol

@ Thanks Becky, that certainly sounds like a very advanced technique!
