When my daughter went to college, I gave her my beautiful little feather weight to mend clothes. Then, when she got ready to move one year, she sold it in a yard sale! I was horrified I haven’t been able to replace it. I do have some good machines so I can continue to Quilt, but I sure miss that featherweight. She sold it to a Quilter, who had twin teenage girls who were learning to Quilt, so I don’t feel quite as badly. Japanese

I have a question for you, Becky. I want to make a block in a block quilt, and I want to machine embroider a small design in the center of each center small block. Should I do this before, or after, I piece the quilt together, or will it not matter? Thank you and I am enjoying your videos so much.

I usually Embroidery first because there is some shrinking of fabric

Oh no! Perhaps someone at your local quilt shop can help you to make choices and pick patterns that can keep you stitching. I always ask for help because I can’t pick fabrics either. Praying for your peace.

My sister is legally blind and she still pieces because I mark her machine.She loves the feel of the fabric But and I do her quilting. Her grandkids love her quilts.
