approx. Rs. 7000 toh Ambernath and Badlapur jaise areas me hai. My dad has a house in this area so i this the accurate value in my neighborhood which is not even one of the top most area of this region

The solution to this isn't to build metros on the same route but upgrade the suburban network. Introduce CBTC signalling and new rolling stock to take frequencies from 16 TPH to 32+. Speed up the upgrades of 4 and 6 track upgrades for higher frequencies. Run higher capacity trains, including bi level. The peak demand on this network is 1.6 lakh passengers per hour. A heavy metro line can do 50,000 only.

or the solution can be to change office timings of business so that peak demand gets distributed in 4-5 hours interval

even-though the demand is of 1.6 lakh and the metro line can only provide services to 50000 but it will help reduce the load on the current trains by approx. 30% also we don't want the whole of 1.6 lakh to shift the only requirement is to have the load distributed evenly among various sources such as monorail and metro. More or less the upgrades mentioned above are also necessary.

Of course , on every station there is at least two TT if someone catches you without ticket then you have to of course pay fine and almost every mumbaikar have pass because if you wait in ticket line some station you have to wait for 15- 20 min so it's better to buy ticket rather than standing in line or paying fine

@@SiddharthRaiyani Infrastructure is not a rapid thing, It needs some time. I admit that Government is doing slow progress, but the speed of it is much better than most of the other state governments, And if the government's efficient speed would be on the scale 100, the rate of migrants coming to maharashtra, especially Mumbai is on the scale of 500. Yes, you should admit it, that this heavy migration is primary problem, and efficiency of govt is secondary one, if govt, will be efficint, and completes all infra project in time. In this situation also, the migrant population will be increase too, as there will be more chances of getting space which is tobe adjusted in Mumbai.

This much slow? Mumbai costal roads was proposed to be built in 1960s and expected to be completed whole before 1982 but they keep on neglecting it. There is no sort of town planning for the future. What is the status of metro. So many cities commissioned metro before mumbai while it is mumbai who desperately needs it. All the while locals and local leaders kept on protesting the aray depot construction. Mumbai municipality is one the richest in india but where is the infra supporting city. Its just gross neglegance of leaders with no visions who kept on neglecting projects till there was no option left.

And india is Unitarian and quasi-federal state. No state of india is seperate or bigger entity than india. You can't crush the ambitions of people. People will migrate seeking opportunities. It is indisputable truth so planning of city should be according to that point kept in mind. Blaming migration for the mess is just the leaders make the excuses to the people to make up for the lack of infra.

North eastern states are special case. They are now included in schedule 6 area that is tribal area. There are many autonomous regions in these states. This is done to protect the customs and ethnicity of the tribal areas in NE states. If you are from NE, you would have more idea about it. ILP regime is one such measure to protect ne states and considering international borders too.

इस का कारण दुसरे राज्य जो अपने यहा रोजगार नही ला सके. इस वजह से दुसरे राज्य से लोग मुंबई आते है.मुंबई को अगर भीड मुक्त करना हो तो, ये बाहर के लोगो का यहा आना बंद करना होगा. इस लिये दुसरे राज्यो में स्मार्ट सिटी बनाके. उस राज्य में रोजगार लाना होगा. तब ही लोगों का मुंबई आने का प्रमाण कम हो गा. शहर कि जणसंख्या नियंत्रण में आयेगी.

If the other states of India were developed with robust and reliable transport systems in mind, this wouldn't be happening. We wouldn't be having super dense mega cities which keep getting bloated. Instead, we would have had smaller, walkable cities and towns with reliable and frequent intracity public transit. They would be dense but not crowded. They would have been so pleasant to live in. It would have been something like Swiss cities. They are not mega cities but the quality of life would be very high with very low stress rates. The amazing thing is that Switzerland has absolutely amazing Inter City and intracity public transit, with even the smallest of villages being connected with frequent, punctual and reliable inter city and regional trains. We could have become like Switzerland. Let's hope that we can still become like that.

There is only one main reason- Poor state of farming and farmers across the country. The prices of everything go up but not of cereal crops like rice and wheat. People are ready to waste lakha of rupess on unnecessary luxury items but when cereals prices go up by few rupess they start shouting as if theyare all going to die.
