My Duke 390 is a 2015, when I first got it, it was so choppy and the first 3 gears were totally unusable. By chance, I decided to do a resonator delete only. I purchased a pipe, an Austin Racing mini muffler, a db killer and a K&N airfilter. This by fluke combination totally changed the usability of the gears and also removed the choppiness, the sound is so improved as well. The only negative consequence is my fuel consumption has gone down by an estimated 25%. I am basing the higher fuel consumption on a reduced full tank range. I now only get about 120 miles out of a full tank with reserve used. Luckily this is the most I can get out of the tank and still get to my favorite destination.

So your bike got way to less fuel for the amount of air it gets. And your First thought was to increase the air amount?

im planning buying a powertronic piggyback for an mt125 yamaha and i dont know if its safe for my bike or if its good? just gotta know if its reliable and if it works

All I can do is speak for the unit I have from them. It’s been on my bike since 2020 and still rides hard so I’ve had great luck with it and bike runs smooth.

Can I go for it on Adv 250!! How will be the performance? And does it hamper the engine warranty?

According to powertronic it doesn’t do anything to the warranty. It will help clean up the low rpm range and you will notice it to have more pep. I also gained 10 mph top end on mine.

Be very careful about choosing PowerTronic items of any kind. If you want more performance, find another way. My FuelX Lite worked good for 3 months, then started making engine stall and run erratically. I uninstalled and the bike ran fine. I figured like any reputable company, I could simply return it and get it exchanged under warranty. They refused to let me return it and demanded I reinstall it and video record the led lights to prove to them it was not my fault. Nowhere in their warranty does it state you must do this. They could have simply waited till I shipped it back and they could have tested it, but they refused. The last part of their warranty, states how they hide behind Bangalore court system.
