I think you will have issues with getting Crane, but Isky is by far the top choice currently. And unlike Comp, they actually care about customers.

when you are by far the biggest fish in the pond and people that use your stuff push it to the limit, there will be some failure. Most failures can be traced to valve float or push rod deflection or just parts that are cycled out.

Why would anyone buy a lifter from Comp when an Isky is available? And if you call Isky, they won't keep you on hold for 90 minutes and then just brush you off.

Thanks, nice to know that. I want a new cam, lifters springs rockers etc. Have not made a decision where to buy from yet.

Yeah Mike, I was just wondering If Comp and other big companies are outsourcing their budget cams and lifters overseas. ??? Hearing of lots of cam and lifter failures in the past year or so. I don't know if Comp is one of these brands though. Need to do more research.

Comp cams doesn't make lifters. They have them made for them.

Don't ever, ever run needle bearing roller lifter in your engine. It's simply a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. After loosing an engine, I stepped up to Isky "Red Zone EZ Roll" lifters. Best $1,200 Dollars I've ever spent. Now I have peace of mind wether I race, or cruise on the street..

@@joshmiller8663 Agree, well worth the peace of mind that come with that 1,200 price. Every engine with needle bearing roller lifters is a ticking time bomb. I had to learn the hard way. Just trying to save other racers some time, money, and frustration..

Rockers is hard, because they own T&D. But at least you are talking to someone at T&D when you call them and not some jackass from Comp.
