I think this is different version, the screen certainly isnt as dim as theirs but through the camera lens it is very hard to tell

You have to flash the card for the os in order for it to work right

What you should do is actually burn the custom os onto the sd card (using something like balena etcher) so then it actually runs the os. Also I would suggest swapping out the SD cards that come with the X55 with name brand ones because the ones that typically come with these retro game consoles are prone to failure and corruption.

If you aren't already into mechanical keyboards, I suggest Kaihl Box Navy switches. They're very loud and they click twice with each stroke.

@@ZealousChuck rk2023 is basically same as RGB20s 1 GB Ram while x55 2 GB. I love my RGB20s but is not as ergonomic, I feel too small to play some games. Thanks for your answer anyway.

In my country at least, this console was far more cheaper than the rg505, and just about the same as the rg353ps, wich has a 3,5 screen, too small for psp games and is hard too read text in such a small screen.😁👌🏻

Yo #ZealousChuck i watched your Anbernic Rg405m devuce 2 days ago. Between Powkiddy X55 and Anbernic rg405m which is a better console to play PS2 wnd GameCube emulation. And when are you gonna review Anbernic rg505 and Retroid pocket 3 plus and compare of all of them for the king of emulation especially wii, gcn, and ps2!

@@jimbotron70 actually 1 week ago I ordered Retroid Pocket 3 Plus and Powkiddy X28. Both have same specs and uses same chipset/processors. And they can both play 80% of PS2, GCN, and some Wii games running at 30fps. PS2 games framerate are really good I'm easily achieving 40/50fps on scooby doo, Nickelodeon Spongebob, and other games. While other graphically demanding PS2 games can easily run at 30fps. So you're wrong don't spew stuff which you don't have a clue on why don't you actually get Anbernic RG405m or 505 or Retroid Pocket 3 Plus or Powkiddy x28 which all have same specs just different brands and can play PS1, DreamCast, Saturn and PS2 with ease!

I don't need to watch your video to answer the question of 'Really THAT Bad or is it worth buying???' - it's from Powkiddy, that's all I need to know to say it will be of poor quality and, if not faulty when you get it, will likely die a week or two later. Been burnt by this company and was disgusted by their support wasting my time and trying to find any excuse not to accept a return or to acknowledge that their product was defective. If my comment can make just one person reconsider buying anything from Powkiddy then my work here is done.
