PP-2K Modify Review - Too good to be true. (OTs-126)

This video reviews an airsoft toy replica, not a real firearm.
If you're looking for a GBBR, you should definitely consider the Modify PP2K. I was quite impressed with its build quality and performance, and I don't see any long-term issues with it.

Nice that Modify have got the PP2K baked with version 2. Just a pity that it was at the expense of V1 buyers. The V1 was a pure misconstruction. With CO2, the "positive stop" broke after a few magazines. The long Greengas magazines did not manage to shoot all BBs. The safety broke when the trigger was pressed (in safe mode). Oddly enough V2 spare parts were available very quickly (For expensive money) For me, the V1 was a rip-off.

I still have a gen1 and it still seems to work fine but after all I've heard I'm just waiting for it to break. I love the PP2000 so much tho that I'll probably buy a gen2 before that happens anyway and just dual wield them until the gen1 breaks.

small annotation: You should really give the VFC MP7 (V2) a try. The KWA is way worse and also smaller than the VFC for some license reasons. And the VFC also doesn't come with >2J out of the box... The german KZbinr "REAPER" has made an awesome review about the VFC, maybe you take a look at some point :) Otherwise awesome and detailed review, thank you so much! Really useful!

Mega gut! Vielen Dank für dieses Review, habe damit geliebäugelt, besonders für größere OP's als Backup für meine Sniper. Die Fehler die man überall liest bzw. sieht hast du alle angesprochen, das finde ich spitze. Meine bedenken hast du mehr oder minder aus dem Weg geräumt, so daß ich nun tatsächlich überlege mir die kleine zuzulegen... Na hier hast ja wohl die Gen 2 von der PP2K. Wir Erstkäufer waren Betatester die viel Geld ausgegeben haben. Aroganter Modify Support kommt da noch dazu der mit den V2 Spareparts nochmal zusätzlich Euronen geschaufelt haben. Springer können sie gut aber bei GBB, sollte da nochmal was kommen, warte ich 2 Jahre bis die Krankheiten behoben worden sind.

@@BB2K-Airsoft ja das soll die v2 sein :) Springer können sie wirklich gut, habe die Scout vor dem halben Jahr gekauft... das Teil ist schon echt nice. Ich wollte mich Mal etwas von der breiten Masse abheben und nicht mit der 100sten SSG10 übers Feld laufen 😁 (obwohl ich die auch besitze)

Hi Josef. So, I have a lot of WE mags and those things really like to leak so the community recommended me to use gasket maker on them and it seems to work very well. Just in case you want to revisit your MP7.

It's a bummer you haven't tried any CO2 mags. This thing really shines when running CO2, kicks *way* harder, cycles faster, allows to play in very cold temps and provides great consistency. I had one gen 1 strip the damn nozzle stop after *one* shot with a CO2 mag, but the gen 2s can stand it without any issues

The feeling I get with this is it's like they don't test it at all, or don't care? Sure the addressed many things but its not there yet! What I find funny is that Josef is so used to guns not working properly he says it is okay, but then has a long long list of things he ran into... - I mean, no NPAS is one thing, but; - wobbly stock, - filing, - changing the bucking, - gas efficiency meh (names a fix), - more filing, - flashlight needs ducktape, - did I miss something? These are things a professional company would not do. Imagine BMW or Mercedes said to their customers: ah the door doesn't close very well, we'll fix it next time, but the car drives fine... Cars would be taken back and issues would be fixed... or else! I would love to buy a PP-2K, but this is ridiculous. So Modify what the hell is wrong with you to try and sell us something that isn't finished yet, again. @Josef, thanks for he review I enjoyed it very much.

Josef, i recommend using some kind of army green duct tape to tape the baseplates to the magazines. cut a hole at the bottom for the gas fill port and you are good to go.

Worth noting the magazine screws are the terrible pot metal, I went through 2 mags where the screws snapped off under very little pressure. I switched all mine to all stainless steel screws

The only thing about the holster is it doesn't work with the OTS-126. That's more of an issue with the OTS having a higher profile top rail, but be aware of that. I learned that the hard way, unfortunately...

Hey Josef, ive got some issues with the consitency of the mags of the ssq 22. With some mags the shots are consistent in power, but wih others, one shot is strong, the second is weak. Do you know about this problem?

to fix the leaky mp7 mags use paintball gun grease, trust me its the best grease out there for oranges and gaskets, mine has been going strong for over 5 years and while yes the pinning is a bitch they are rather easy to fix, also I've never broken any baseplate and I do drop them so that's weird

also the reason why the long mag is so long is because you can actually use it as a stock, you can remove the stock from the gun with the button behind the receiver and the hole is the same size as a mag, that's why the baseplate has texture

V2 gas mag inlet valves from novritsch website. Doesn't matter which one you pick, they are the same hicapa or glock. You can find them in pistol spareparts.

Oh no, so it's like the VFC MP5 bolt lock. I hate that. My KWA Mac11 has the same system, it's just terrible. Like an afterthought or something. In case a manufacturer is reading this, if you make a bolt lock like this, I'm not buying your gun.
