Full credit to Federico here. Held his nerve and composure when down 8-3 in the third, and hit some incredible shots to bring it back. Well deserved!!

This is great by every measure. All the witches that just left PPA because “Johns always wins”… This keeps Ben honest…the pressure of “never losing” and the tendency to grow complacent is quashed. It’s just healthy for the game. I love Ben Johns…from the first games I have watched him play 4-5 years ago. This will only serve to develop him as a leader, player, winner (and in this case loser).

Is this a joke… aces would be insane… it’s an excellent serve - saying it’s insane is a stretch because the nature of pickleball is the rally hence why anyone can return a pickleball serve… Federico and Ben are phenomenal players… its not about the serve in pickle -- let’s save that for tennis

Been Johns is an incredible Pickleball player and he’s proven tournament after tournaments and some of them are very lengthy with near wins score taking a lot of time away from any rest that he might had gotten. And that’s what happened to Ben Johns. Just like come on, are you kidding me, He endured a lot of physical activity climbing his way at a chance of another Triple Crown and run out of steam, it’s like how many games did the opponent play before beating Ben John’s, and of course it was close games and you could tell at the end of the last game Ben was out of it, just like he ran the 26 mile marathon, done. The next time they play you will see a different game? Other favorites,, I might add Colin Schick and Connor Garnett would make a great mens team together. Just saying.

This kitchen dinking shit sucks…. Yes it can kinda be strategic but it slows down the whole momentum of the game. I’m trying to switch to pickle ball from tennis now because to be honest it’s easier. But serves need to be overhand and courts need to be wider in my opinion.
