I don't know why people in singles continue to hit it TO their opponent. I get sometimes you have to, but it seems like I see lots of opportunities where one could hit it far away from them, but they don't.

it’s a split second risk reward system, either put it away from them and risk hitting it too far out, or hit it at your opponent and force them to have to put you away, or maybe the opponent will predict you’ll hit it far away so hitting it where they are will make them miss once the opponent takes off to cover the open space. In the moment, a lotta people take the conservative approach and wait for a more opportune time then to always risk hitting a winner!

They do the court just ain’t that big and the closer you hit it to the lines the tighter the margin and the slower the ball has to be to stay in

Give angles get angles, you have to wait for the right shot to put an angle away, if the opponent reads it they can smoke you on the next shot, returning middle takes away options like down line or cross court.

The stupid undershorts always ride up on me. I’ve never found a skort that doesn’t do that. I think it is a body shape issue.

@@1ninjamom359 My skorts are pretty comfy most of the time but yeah, there is occasional tugging. Seems like she does it more than others and I'm guessing that her chosen outfit may not be the best for her. Notice she always wears the same one - she has it in 3 or 4 colors but construction is the same. She might do better with something else.
