His physicality and mentality, though, is extremely poor. He cannot become a top player unless this radically changes. He repeatedly gives up matches because of cramps and other sores. This match was shameful, yelling at his coach that he doesn't give a s**t about the match anymore because he's cramping ("How the f**k am I supposed to play?"). Top players never do that, they always shut up and keep playing.
@iansmirna5183Күн бұрын
@@J.-M. You have no idea what you're talking about. Great players as you say can't play either with cramps. He won't take risk of an injury before AO, this Cup is badly timed in the calendar. Top players would usually quit in these conditions and in Slams would try to go to toilets, call for physio 100 times, earn some time.
@J.-M.Күн бұрын
@@iansmirna5183 I know what I'm talking about, that's why I'm saying it. Top players just don't act like that. No, they don't. That's why they're top players. Good players don't give up matches when they start cramping (and they don't yell profanities at their coaches hysterically for it). They keep playing. Always. Macháč's behaviour in this is so bad that he was even critiziced by his own Davis Cup captain after he did that in Davis Cup last year. And the Davis Cup captain never criticizes his own players for these things, it has to be really exceptionally bad when he says that.
