I got my PX4 a year ago and at first I wasn't impressed. I'm glad I stuck with it because it shoots 4 mags per co2 and it's very accurate. The trick to the co2 is to snug the wheel up then give it 3-4 additional strokes on the wheel. Then turn the bottom power knob. This makes sure it's punctured completely to give quick transfer of co2. This gun likes very light pellets. I use H&N field target trophy green at 5.7gr each. The increased speed makes sure the pellet has left the barrel before blowback raises the point of impact. It has made this gun one of my favorite co2 pistols.

So you actually get 4 magazines out of 1 12gram cartridge, that's impressive. I'll try to tighten the knob even more tomorrow, hope it works 😢
@AlainHubert4 жыл бұрын
About the fps dropping off as you shoot, once you know how a CO2 cartridge actually works, the fps can remain constant until the very end of the cartridge. What is inside a 12 grams cartridge is actually liquified CO2 under around 800 psi pressure. When you let a little bit of that pressure out, by firing the gun which opens a valve for a fraction of a second, part of that liquid is quickly converted to CO2 gas, and the pressure inside the cartridge drops a little. But, it also cools down because CO2 is a refrigerant. If you allow enough time between shots (around 15 seconds) for the cartridge temperature to come back up to room temperature, the pressure will also come back to its initial state. Each and every time you shoot, until there's no more liquid to be converted to gas inside. Up to the very end. The key here is temperature. That is why the pressure drops, not because the amount of gas left does, since that gas comes from the liquified CO2. So long as there is still liquified CO2 left inside the cartridge, and the temperature is maintained, the pressure will also be maintained. Only the very last few shots will see a major drop in pressure if these steps are followed. The problem with semi-auto guns, is that it's too tempting to fire shots rapidly, without leaving enough time for the cartridge temperature to climb back up between shots to maintain fps.

Epic explanation! 🔥👍
@AlainHubert Жыл бұрын
@@mjrhodes6996 It's also why shooting a CO2 airgun will always be more enjoyable in the summer, because the higher the room or outside temperature is, the higher the pressure will be from a CO2 cartridge. 😏

I bought one of these and within a week the magazine was stuck inside and it broke trying to get it out. Within 2 weeks the trigger got stuck in the fire position, all the way back. And when I contacted the company for help they were worthless. And that's pretty much all I got to say about this product I wouldn't recommend it ever.
@hboyO29 ай бұрын
That's usually because one of the pellets faults and gets stuck between the mag and the barrel. No need to bruteforce it, just take a rod and carefully push the pellet back in the mag until you can take it out.

@@hboyO2 Thanks I'll try that.

Mine does exactly the same as yours in the video. It also shoots up and to the right. Also doesn't seem to last too long on a full gas canister. Was expecting a bit more out of it. If I could set the sights at the rear it would help.

Good video. Thank. I got my PX4 a month ago and at first I wasn't impressed.We can't just call it cheap. moreover in comparison with other guns it is not very accurate above 10 meters. Partly due to the rifling of the barrel. This can also be seen from the inaccuracy of the holes in the flat pellets. Maybe I'll sell it.

ppdangler I have purchased gamo tactical with faux suppressor so the barrel was actually about 12-13” long. Accuracy is still bad. I thought it’s improved because of barrel length and shoots .177 pellets. Disappointing. Just wondering why can’t they make it accurate. Is there a government mandated rules?
@ppdangler6 жыл бұрын
no not government rules, but physics rules. co2 is very unpredictable. it flucuates with each shot, and on top of that so do the pellets, the combination of rising and falling co2 pressures and pellet inconsistency and then add human error into the mix and well you have a very inaccurate pistol. all of my pistols that are worth anything accuracy wise are pumpers. if your seriously looking for accuracy invest in a pcp rifle. or atleast a pump pistol/rifle. thanks for the comment tho i know i went thru many co2 pistols, they are great fun to shoot and pink with but will never be as accurate as their pumper counterparts
@mja97006 жыл бұрын
ppdangler PCP yes I have several top rank Air arms PCP, hatsun, evanix, Air Force and others. I still wish they’d make a way to build an accurate pellet pistols. 12 gm is enough to create sufficient amount of CO2 to propel .177 pellet accurately at 350 FPS.

Hi. Does anyone know if theres a green gas capsule. & are green gas pistols better against that freeze issue the co2 has. Seems like theyre very shitty (co2) guns. Their power drops every shot unless you wait like 10 seconds. Redundant if you ask me. Wtf ya know hahaha. Nice vid man anyways. Like this pistol despite it being co2. But yeh would a gree or red gas capsule be better? Anyone? Please.... Adam.

I bought one yesterday, tested it today, everything is great, except I can only get two magazines of blowback action, only 32 pellets, the 3rd will work but you can definitely feel a noticible drop in power, the last 8 rounds you need to single action cock and shoot and the bbs are falling way low. Just 2 mags? Is that normal?
