You three are such a treat ❤ And Joel's mind is so interesting! I enjoy his philosophical and existential wanderings. There seems to be such a contrast in your worldviews hence your varied responses to the question, yet you also seem to have some deeply shared values! I guess thats how healthy friendships look like.

Pumla, i resonate with your sister. While i was in Uganda i knew that i did not belong there. I struggled so much with literally everything. Infact there is a time someone told me that i always looked lost. People used to make various comments about me that related to not fitting in. The moment i relocated to North America, it felt like i was home. Everything seemed familiar. I fit in like a glove, i made friends, went back to school, found a great job. I easily enjoy activities. It just felt right. I have not been back to UG in 15 years and guess what? I dont miss it. Whenever i want to go on holiday its a totally different country. I do not even feel guilty for not visiting Uganda.
@pumlanabachwa8668 Жыл бұрын
Oh WoW! All I got was - I haven't been back in 15yrs. Girl child! My sister (that you resonate with) is home atleatst twice a year. Don't you miss your UG family? 🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️
