Meat na Chips is life 😂😂😂 yes you will love Rwanda, just keep up you positivity, any problem ask help from any elder nearby , they're so helpful. But younger generations are likely the one who can speak English or French. Say some kinyarwandan words, you will see how people will feel so proud..you will enjoy it. Buses usually have some stops, better tell the driver where exactly you want to stop from, like in Butare you should have stopped at the bus park, it's in downtown Butare, good hotels and restaurants are near, there is also a National Historic Museum there nearby you can check it before you leave. Enjoy Rwanda💙💛💚

I am going to run this video in our next Marketing class to show students how can a salesman be desparate to sell his products. To reach Nyungwe Forest National Park I suppose you will take the road to Bukavu, I know since I lived in Butare(Astrida) for several years. Rwanda and Burundi where colonised by Germany as one region under the name of Ruand-Urundi. In 1924 the guardianship of the region was given by the UN to Belgium. In 1962 Ruanda-Urundi gained their independence and split into 2 countries Rwanda and Burundi. Nobody in the comments has mentioned the fact that in 1994 a genocide took place in Rwanda killing 500.000 to 1 million people. After the Genocide taking advantage of the deteriorating social order, Tutsi-led (Rwandan Patriotic Front) rebels invaded Rwanda from Uganda(English spoken) and rule the country since then. This is the reason why in Rwanda, English has become the main Foreign used language opposed to Burundi where French is used since the Belgian period.
