A swatch wheel just kind of gives you a first impression of a polish. I like how u do it where u do a 1st coat, then pause and do 2nd/3rd off camera. I’ll watch either way because of how much I value your opinion on polishes 😊

@@JenniferDufoe I do! I haven’t actually had it during the fall yet, so I don’t know for sure. It’s definitely more glowy to me in indirect lighting than direct, so I would think it’s definitely possible it will be more glowy during the darker months when the sun isn’t as strong. I am a purple lover, especially when it has a blue glow, so I am probably biased.

First, thank you for demonstrating how to open boxes! Great example of not using your nails as tools. I need to follow your example.❤😂 Your unboxing and fun swatching on a wheel is great. I understand that there is a difference between actual swatching and this fun quick "take a look" swatching. You did great! As for the Neon and pink you didn't like, try a topper, it can make such a difference and you might find a combo you really love. ❤

@@sunflowerstefi267 My husband saw me opening the boxes with scissors and he didn't like how awkward it looked and he was worried I was going to cut myself. so he got me this box cutter and it has this perfect little lip on the back that opens these nail polish boxes so perfectly. And you're totally right about the topper!! I'm just starting to build my topper collection. It's not something I've been super excited about in the past so I don't have that many but I am having more fun using them lately so I am slowly getting more options for toppers. 😊

I looooove swatching videos :) I just swatch on the individual clear sticks and my swatches are for reference, like helping me to decide what polishes look good paired together and such. My own PPU order arrived today so i'm excited to start swatching them out!

Your wrap up makes total sense. If you do an unboxing I appreciate the preliminary swatch on the wheel. Even though it doesn't completely look the same as final on nail . To only see it in bottle & that you got it would make me sad:( I missed buying the goblins polish but I love purple & glow.

Also there will be a few videos coming with rapid fire swatch and review on my hands like normal but I'm going to try to make it faster since I got a lot of Polish to go through. @@stephanieparks2878 Thank you!! If I'm going to buy purples I might as well buy the one everybody goes crazy over. I also love cuticula's top coat. I would use it way more often but there's no refill so I only wear it when I use a cuticula polish. I use the base and top coat the same scent and it lasts for a couple days. I love it!

I like how you’re doing these videos. I like hearing your first impressions-it’s different from other swatchers. I laughed when you said “oh, I don’t like that!”. Like you said, you may always change your mind when you get them on your nails. That’s such a weird collection of polishes! There’s so many different formulas, finishes and colours - I like the swatch wheel so we can see how sheer things are and how they build. But totally agree it’s no replacement for a swatch and review!

Great haul 🥰 I picked up dreamland & cuticula from ppu rewind too. As soon as a saw the cuticula polish I thought it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. The funny thing about that is it’s inspired by a horror money 😂 I am like you I don’t get the hype for the dreamland polish. It’s ok but didn’t wow me. I have Goblins & Ghoulies and I will tell you take once you put it on your nails that polish shifts like crazy. It’s hard to tell that on the swatch wheel. And it’s a solid three coats on my nails and is so worth it. I also picked up the shift happens duo too and the cuticula blew me away. But I love grays so that’s a no brainer 😂

It's funny how It was based on a horror movie, but it seems like it will be good for the holidays 🤔 The gray Cuticula in the shift happens is definitely the reason why I got that duo and I don't hate pink so I thought it was worth it. 😊

Loving your videos and your willingness to accept suggestions- I watch your videos on my phone and it’s difficult to read the labels when you just show the bottles - could you insert the names of the polishes on the screen? I agree with you about your swatch and reviews- hope you keep doing those. It is much more informative about the formula- I also think you get better idea about the color from swatching on your nail. Having said that - I know it’s more work but I do like seeing the swatch wheel during the unboxings.

I've noticed that I'm not super reliable about saying every single nail polish name when I pull them out. And I always have every nail polish that I've talked about in the description 😊

The Cupcake Polish you were talking about is called Funfetti, lol. Love the swatches, good for you branching out in to purples, but you don't ~have~ to love them, lol. I bought The Sky is falling and Shake Your Shamrock when they were originally out- rewind is usually a small month for me since I get them when they're originally released hahaha

@@danniparis8898 The Rogue polish is 13ml. It is smaller than some. The garden path lacquer and Jen and berries are worth 12ml. The bottles can definitely be deceiving. Some nail polish bottles have so much glass on them. It's pretty much impossible to tell by just looking 🧐

I got that sticker too! lol I did get Wildflower Lacquer "Geralt Can Have All My Coins" along with KB Shimmer "Rise Up!" I have a similar shade of neon green from Dreamland Lacquer. I ended up doing a skittle mani with a purple flakie polish that turned out super pretty. I don't know that I"d wear that green alone, you know?
