This is a good discussion. Yes, we are happy if this tax collected amount is spent for development like Higways,Railways,Ports,Sanitory,Health etc. But it should not spent for freebies.If Govt is having more income to offer freebies let them decrease the GST slabs, reduce power tariff,reduce tax on Petrol/Diesel which will benefit all the citizens. The schemes what govt is offering should increase people life style should not encourage people tp become lazy. Iam not against schemes but it should be only for needy people not for all(Example Pension for senior citizens,Physically handicapped etc). Iam not against anyone this is my opinion.Iam paying 3L rupees as Income tax but iam not benefited for any of the Govt schemes.But there are some people who are millionaries but still they are getting freebies,Is it justified?

This is really good concept. Waiting to post my question at right forum from many years. Employees irrespective of their salary only are direct tax payers but business man on the other hand not even paying income tax at least 1 rupee even after earning crores and crores per annum. Every body knows that, how much a chai wala and paani poori Wala is earning.
