Practical Caravan - how to pitch caravan awnings

Good vid. Ive got an old 1993 caravan with a really ill fitting awning. Have been wondering if i might have a problem fittin a newer awning to it. But it seems pretty easy .

A bag of scaffolding poles , a bag of fittings and a few meters of canvas to be zipped together is so stupid I can't see why anyone thinks it is a solution for a touring caravan. There are so many family tents that erect in half the time with half the effort you wonder what Planet awning designers live on,.You start with one side erected on a caravan, yet you get a heavy weight puzzle to build a shelter, on the other three sides, madness.
