My Toy Poodle doesn’t drink water much and I’m so worried, so when you mentioned that your girls did the same until you get them a water fountain, I’m relieved ! And you were absolutely right about them being smart. Mine is over 20 weeks old and he’s been with me for over 10 weeks and in that span of time he has learned a lot of command - tricks. I have to teach him new trick every week because he easily gets bored with the tricks he already know. Bored means, once we covered all the command ... he’ll walk away LOL ! I make homemade treats for him and he started having home cooked meal which solved the ‘ picky eater ‘ behaviour. Anyway, I’m a first time furparent and I enjoyed watching your videos, they’re helpful plus I love seeing Bailey and Summer.

I have a question regarding having littermate toy poodles. I have a 3 month old toy poodle, Rocky. I'm looking to get his youngest brother from the same kennel so he has someone to play and grow up with apart from me. What are the challenges of having two poodle pups at the same time who are of the same age and from the same litter? I have read about littermate syndrome but a lot of it is anecdotal and there have been success stories from many trainers. I want to know your opinion since you have two amazing toy poodles yourself. Thank you!

Hi JD! Thank you so much for watching the video. I do not see any problem with getting littermates at all so long as you introduce them properly. I prefer having 2 dogs than one because in my head at least neither of them will ever be alone. My girls are only 6 months apart :) and I have never had problems with them. They get along really well and are the best of friends. ^^

Thoughts on collar vs harness? I use harness but I think collars are more convenient but I'm scared it might choke my dog if she pulls :(

Hi Venus! Personally, I would go for a slip leash rather than a collar or harness. But like you said, it can cause choking if you don’t train your pup how to get used to it first. The harness encourages to pull if you don’t know how to use it either. Might I suggest learning about both tools prior buying them. Because are are different kinds of harnesses too. You can get the one with a lead in front of the harness to lessen pulling, but bottomline it comes down to preference. I’ll add this to my list of videos to do. As I think it’s a great idea for a video.
