Hey there. I am 16 years old and I recently started reading the book 'A Brief History Of Time' by Stephen Hawking. Even though the book is famous for being easy enough for all sorts of people to read and understand, I am having little difficulties at understanding Freidmann's assumptions of the expanding universe in chapter 3. Now I have tried the Feynman technique to understand that part but I still can't grasp the conceptions fully. So any tips would be very helpful because I really wanna read the book.

The fastest way to learn... regularly practice what you're trying to learn, researching the gaps along the way. If you're trying to learn something, chances are you're planning on using the information for something. To quote a pox, "JUST DO IT!" You gotta start somewhere, and where better than to just start? Einstein needs to fuck off, the fucking patent hack. You can't avoid technical jargon when learning something technical because that jargon is there to simplify and shorten the language used to explain the subject. Otherwise, that paragraph you're trying to read becomes an essay (replacing the jargon with its definitions). It's essentially the opposite attitude you take towards middle school English (creative goddamn writing). Instead of "drawing a picture in your reader's head" (fuck off!), you're just telling them what it is and what's going on. It's then up to you to draw parallels and compare them to things you already know.

Not gonna dislike the video, but I want to state my opinion as a viewer of your channel for you. I honestly did not like most of the video, only at 5:40 did you start to explain what I found useful. I say this because as far as the Feynman Technique is concerned, I like complexity and I understand that you must master the basics, but I have no interest in explaining most of what I do to other people. Even after 5:40, I knew those tips. I'm not trying to be negative, or complaining. I simply just did not enjoy the video, and it's the first video of yours I haven't. Also, a side note, I was expecting something like the book, "The First 20 hours". I feel as a sub of yours, I should tell you my thoughts, for your use.
