Thanks Tyson. But I think there is a faster way to do it 1- Select the bottom edges of the tabs(or whatever it's called) 2- Move them toward the grooves by twice the groove depth (2 inches if the groove is 1 inch) 3- Finally select all the bottom edges and move them back by the depth of the groove depth (1 inch) Regards

Excellent instructional. I did it with the IPad and like you said it’s a great exercise. Doing those kind of practices gets you ready for a drawing/designing project that could be very challenging.

Definitely easier (and faster) with the plug-in...but possible manual as well...good tranining-tips !

Nice one mate! Always good to practice the fundamentals. Musicians practice remedials. And some people call it muscle memory. Great for woodworking too.

Fastest method in this case, it's using boolean tools.

I think this could all be done in one view with the push me pull you too too. ( Dr. Doolittle reference) (it is a book in case you have not heard of it, also a movie.)
