That's what I do for my plans. I don't do 2d tag, only 3d. That way, I can assign different line weights in layout to these elemts. And, I don't use filled faces but instead I only use lines and arcs.

I would like to know why SketchUp doesn't include a bounding box or centralized text as a standard writing tool (not the 3D text tool). This would allow us to create libraries with blocks and text. I have created some Ruby scripts that generate dimensions and text automatically for all environments, but without the option to center the text, it looks a bit odd.

Please create an easy way to lock tags so they don't disappear when using clean actions. It's exhausting to create various items and assign them to tags, only to not have the tags deleted when they are not in use at the moment.

Tags should not be deleted unless they're empty. Make sure to assign at least one item, even a placeholder, to that tag to ensure cleanup tools won't erase.

That's not smart i used sketchup for 12 years ,you need add more architectural elements to programs like Gridline, Levels , doors&windows, make th pattern fill easier to add hatch to wall ,all your tips still not smart and we still need to use another autodesk programs to complet the project we are Architect and need this tools to save time we know that we have plugins to do something like that but still not smart and easy i think if you update sketchup to that level you will get more users ..i wish i saw this update in program soon 😢
