That Biden line got me laughing, LOL! Excellent drill! I use this to warn up before hitting the offset cone drill in your book. This is also in motojitsu's drill book under blue belt and white belt parking spaces. It is really fun to do and it does help with sharpening transitions and wheel placement. Keep up the great work and I'll keep practicing!

I know it’s weird and you won’t do it but when I started 2.5 years ago I was trying to do Jerry’s low speed turns on day one as a new rider and it was very hard so one thing I did was to use the islands in a parking lot (they were long narrow islands with grass and stuff) and their curbs were a visual that helped me. I would ride along the long edge and turn around the narrow edge. The roundabouts helped too, I would go around the inside edge at different speeds and then the visual helped me when I went to the empty parking lot. But if you are starting out, what he is doing here, doing bigger faster turns first will let you ease into slower tighter turns more easily. You don’t have to be a motor officer talent on day one, just ease into it.

👍🏻 All clues: Precise! Informative! Helpful! I envy Florida's temperatures (even at 64°F). Our "windshield factor" is currently 30...32°F - this has decreased. In this video it looks like Jerry's weight has also decreased (?). Have a good time, see you next time. ☀️

another great segment Jerry. great tip about just picking up a parking lot and running for a few minutes. great tip about checking the tire pressure and bumping it a little when you store. we had a cold snap last night here in MD, got down to 21 degrees but gonna get back up to 40 today and 50 tomorrow. sometimes hard to get that back tire pressure for an old guy with a bad back.....lol. thanks for sharing.

@@motorman857 Hey motorman ; I’m 63 myself , with (6) spinal fusions . My tire valve stems on my 2018 FXLR Low Rider point straight up , and it’s a “ fight “ to inflate my tires to keep proper air pressure . Is there an option to get a 90 degree valve stem installed when I buy new tires ? And last question - with all of my surgeries , my 2018 is now officially 6 years old . My bike only has 4,200 miles on her ; because I’ve heard that tires get “ hard “ and can be dangerous with age - even though actual mileage is low , do you recommend that I replace my tires ? Thanks in advance .

Jerry please teach us the proper technique to lean the bike. I know that when riding slow speed we turn the bike with the handlebar not counter steering. So when making a tight left U turn do i have to to turn the handlebar to left only ? This works when turning really at slow speed which is bike straight up but i have to lean the bike. Whats the best way to lean the bike ? I'm asking because at higher speeds making counter steering makes the bike lean automatiacally but at slow speed i have to deal with the bike ? Thank you for your answer and thanks for these great videos.
@motorman857

Get above 5 mph and turn the handlebars in the direction you want to go and the bike will lean.

Hey motorman, I have a genuine question for ya - I ride a 14 CVO Limited, and i live out in the county. My driveway is very long (over 200 ft) gravel, and the road is a very narrow, and very crouwned asphalt road which is a 90 deg turn. I feel like i have to keep my speed up while going down the driveway to keep it from becoming a slip and slide, but i also feel like i need to slow down dramatically when i get to the pavement in order to make the right turn. By the time i have made the turn, i am on the downhill side of the crown and face possibly going into the neighbors ditch. I feel like its a tough turn and im sure you could make it quite easily. How do you suggest i approach this turn???

Here in Fl. we have climate change every 6 months. Half the year it's 95 every day and the other half it's 75 every day. It hasn't changed in the 46 years I've been here. Oh, and noted climate expert Al Gore was wrong about the entire state being under water since 2000.

Interesting your tire pressure is 40 and 40 normally. I think if I ran 40 in the front in the summer with temperature here above 100 and asphalt temps hotter tire expansion would lesson the contact patch greatly. I have done slow practice with 40 in the front and it does turn easier so I understand why you do it. I enjoy your sarcasm. Merry Christmas

Not all motorcycles have the same number of degrees lock to lock Not all motorcycles have the same wheel base Not all motorcycles have the same rake and trail Size and weight does not have anything to do with specs. of a bike Doing a turn at full lock is not smart as you only have one direction to turn the handle bars to balance the bike .and becoming a stunt rider to do your tricks is not necessary ..you can bust your leg if you only drop your bike and the damage no matter how little it is won't help on a trade in ..so who wants to try there luck ...or why don't you lone us your Harley and we will spin donuts with both feet on the pegs ..reminds me of a song that goes like this " if your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough "
